DJ Set, Wall to Wall

01 / About
When the talks end and the DJ takes over, the stage has to change character in one cut. This package turns a PwC event rig into a neon room: a centre wall for the headline visual, mirrored side panels with chrome DJ figures and speaker stacks, and ticker strips running overhead.
The whole surface is authored as a single 10080×1848 canvas at 60fps, so the panels stay locked to each other: grids line up across bezels, the speaker cones pump in phase, and the headphones motif lands dead centre where the DJ stands.
The look is deliberate synthwave: additive neon strokes over black, chrome that picks up every colour in the room, and enough dark ground that the LEDs read as light fixtures rather than a screen.

Concept & pixel map
The rig is surveyed into one 10080×1848 pixel map: centre wall, mirrored side panels and overhead ticker strips, with the DJ booth position marking where the hero motif must land. The whole package is planned as one room, not five screens.
- 02
Modelling
This one is a true 3D scene: chrome DJ figures, speaker stacks with pumping cones, and the headphones hero prop are all modelled and staged per panel, mirrored left to right so the room reads symmetrical from the floor.
- 03
Materials & shading
Chrome and iridescent shaders do the heavy lifting: the figures pick up every neon in the room, so they read as sculptures under club light rather than flat renders. The grids and strokes are emissive materials, not overlays.
- 04
Lighting
The neon is the lighting rig: emissive grids and strokes light the chrome, with a dark ground held around them so the LED wall reads as fixtures in a black room, not a bright screen behind a DJ.
- 05
Camera & choreography
Framing stays locked per panel, and the energy comes from the choreography: cones pumping in phase, strokes cycling on the beat grid, the centre motif breathing. First and last frames match, so the 60fps loop has no join.
- 06
Render & delivery
Rendered at the rig's native 10080×1848 at 60fps and delivered loop-safe per surface split, with the composite canvas you see here. The media server maps it 1:1; nothing scales at the venue.
